This is Ritesh. A graduate in Chemistry, Colloids and Chemical engineering (2006) from HBTI
Kanpur. Presently working as Assistant Research Scientist in Unilever Research India, in the group "Material science, Structured Materials and Process Science". developing Expertise in Surfactants, phase behaviour.
Born and brought up in a small village of Ballia District of eastern Uttar Pradesh, India. Most of my
education was completed in the local schools. I have learnt mostly from nature that flows around me.
I have seen India at a very diff level, I strongly believe in "Education for every one" and my dream is to establish best schools for the unprivileged young warriors of the rural India.

Myself : Assistant Research Scientist in . Unilever R&D Bangalore (12th in "Forbes Most Innovative company 2011" list). A multinational company, operates in the domain of consumer goods, particularly in the field of Chemical Engg, surfactants, oil and fats.
Area of interest:
-Study of the colloidal and inter facial & self-assembly properties of surfactant molecules, and contribute to
the development of new technological applications.
-Evaluation of properties in equilibrium systems (micellar solutions, liquid crystals, Microemulsions) and in
non-equilibrium systems(emulsions, vesicles).
-Preparation of organic and inorganic nanoparticles and meso / macro porous materials.
R&D Skills: Developed myself in the area of Colloid & interfacial science and its’ applications. R&D work at one lev el has been focussed on translating market led ideas to niche products, Formulation developments, learning from competition, Improve performance. Possess multi-category knowledge that can be leveraged for value creation and growth.
-Gained experience in defining and leading several scientific projects (often inv olving large number of team members in multiplications).
-Comfortable with formulation development, testing of products (both lab and consumer testing), scale-up & manufacturing.
-Familiar with Safety and Environment clearances for products, claim support, IPR protection, Publications, negotiation skills and networking to integrate across required business-technology interfaces.
-Played major role in conceptualising new ideas and executing them, which hav e exemplified practical creativity and breakthrough thinking.
